Massive €6.8bn investment quota grant from China to Ireland 'key milestone in economic relations' - 21/12/2016
Ireland has been granted an investment quota of 50 billion renminbi (€6.8bn) by the People's Bank of China under the country's Renminbi Qualified Foreign Institutional Investor (RQFII) programme.
The quota will allow Irish-domiciled financial institutions to invest in China’s domestic bond and equity markets using China’s own currency.

Growth and jobs forecast looking rosy up until 2020 - 19/12/2016
Tens of thousands of jobs will be created in sectors from construction to IT by 2020 as Ireland's economic growth continues to outpace the rest of the European Union, according to a report published this morning.
The Economic Eye Winter Forecast from financial services firm EY predicts that Ireland's economy will expand by 3.1pc this year and 2.9pc in 2017.

CG Hotels cleared for €60m expansion of airport venture - 16/12/2016
CG Hotels has been given the go-ahead for two expansion projects beside its Radisson Blu property at Dublin Airport that are likely to cost in the region of €60m.
The hotel operator has just received permission for a six-storey extension to its existing property that will include 131 new bedrooms.
