Irish ecommerce software firm XSellco to double staff by the end of 2017

XSellco.com is hiring 40 new staff as company looks to deal with increasing demand for its products

Irish ecommerce software firm XSellco.com is hiring 40 new staff by the end of next year as the company looks to deal with increasing demand for its products.

The new roles, which are spread across the areas of software development, sales, and marketing, will double the size of the company's staff, bringing it up to over 80.

XSellco has grown rapidly since being set up by tech entrepreneur Ray Nolan in early 2015, employing just six workers.

The company has alos added Frank McCracken from Boxever as its chief commercial officer and Barry Doyle from Storyful as its chief financial officer.

Salesforce's former head of Europe John Appleby has also joined the company's board as a non-executive director.

XSellco chief executive Victor Corcoran said the business has grown rapidly in two years.

"Our greatest reviews come from existing customers, so we’re keen to keep improving the product and to double down on maintaining our own exceptional customer support standards.

"We remove much of the tedium for our customers, and their positive feedback leads to a great work environment," he said.

XSellco’s platform consolidates incoming queries and order data from sales channels like Amazon, eBay, and Walmart as well as the users’ own web store, helping support teams deliver a better customer experience and reduce support costs.

The platform also helps retailers increase profitable orders through dynamic price changes to ensure the optimum price is offered to customers at all times.
