Irish companies see second highest level of VC investment in 2020 - 03/02/2021
Irish companies secured the second highest level of venture capital investment on record in 2020, the latest KPMG Venture Pulse reports shows.
KPMG said that a total of $970m was invested in 226 deals involving Irish companies, up from $561m across 242 deals in 2019.

Ibec forecasts economic growth of 0.8% for 2020 - 15/12/2020
The resilience of the Irish economy will mean it will grow by 0.8% this year, the country's largest business group has forecast in its latest Quarterly Economic Outlook.
2021 will still bring challenges, Ibec states, but nonetheless it expects Gross Domestic Product to power back and grow by 5.3%.

Ireland is on track to record the fastest GDP growth in the world in 2020, aided by pharma & IT exports, according to the latest figures from Central Statistics Office (CSO).
