Some 91% of Irish investors surveyed say they are now confident about the outlook for the Irish economy over the next three months, compared with 82% at the time of the last barometer in June.
The low point in the sentiment barometer was reached in 2010 when only 10% of investors expressed confidence in the Irish economy.
Optimism in the global economy has dropped.
76% of Irish investors say they are confident about the global economic outlook over the next three months, down from 85% in June.
Confidence among investors about their personal financial situation remains strong at 80%, down slightly from 81% in June.
Most investors believe there is value to be found in the global stock market with half deeming stocks to be their favoured asset class.
